Though we know about Enoch, there is just one thing we know about his father, a man named Jared: Before Enoch ever entered his ministry, "Jared taught Enoch in all the ways of God."
Our earth is presently passing through its "temporal existence." This stretch of 7,000 years began with the Fall of Adam, and will continue through the end of the millennial reign.
No decision in human history was quite like the one that Adam and Eve made to partake of a certain tree.
A wonderful thing about the prophets is that, by purity and care, they have grown super-sensitive to the shepherd's special acoustics.
Some people believe that Adam and Eve sank our boat. Perhaps there is something to that.

We don't always act as if they were his children. The deep-planted nobility doesn't always surface. But even then, these offspring of God are a sturdy bunch.
The Creation story -- no matter how much "time" you suppose it took to unfold -- is a story not only about divine wisdom and divine power, but about divine patience.
It would be magnificent if all the faithful of Old Testament times could be gathered in one meeting.
