Bishops, wives invited to see 'One Good Man'
Mormon Times
Wednesday, Sep. 09, 2009
On Sept. 17, bishops are encouraged to take the night off.

Those serving in bishop callings and their spouses will get in free to see the movie "One Good Man" at the University Mall Cinemark in Orem at 7 p.m.

"One Good Man" is about a father of six who experiences the joys and challenges that come with being a dad and a newly called bishop. He must deal with laying off people at work, getting the call as bishop, a daughter getting engaged and a son preparing to leave for a mission a week after another son comes home.

The movie will hit theaters on Oct. 9, but director Christian Vuissa says he wanted to provide an opportunity for bishops to see the film before its theatrical release.

"I hope that bishops will be able to relate to the movie, because they can see themselves and their families in the characters in the film," Vuissa said in a news release.

Bishops who would like to attend this free movie must RSVP for tickets by sending an e-mail to covenantpromotions@gmail.com by Sept. 14.
